Experts at a Himalayan Roundtable in New Delhi warned that rising tourism, urbanisation and climate change are putting pressure on the Himalayan ecosystem. Participants called for sustainable tourism, climate-resilient infrastructure and stronger environmental governance. A White Paper with policy recommendations will be released soon.
