WeWork India Expands Bengaluru Presence with New Centre at Embassy Vertex

WeWork India has signed a 10-year lease for a new 81,000 sq. ft. workspace at Embassy Vertex, Bengaluru. The centre will offer over 1,250 desks and is set to open in FY27.
WeWork India Expands Bengaluru with Embassy Vertex

New Delhi: WeWork India has announced the signing of a 10-year lease to launch its new workspace centre, WeWork Embassy Vertex, on Residency Road in Bengaluru, the company said.

The upcoming centre will span approximately 81,000 sq. ft. across six floors and is expected to open in the first quarter of FY27. The facility will offer more than 1,250 desks, further strengthening the company’s presence in the city.

Located in the Central Business District, the centre is positioned to address demand for premium flexible workspaces that combine central location with modern design. Bengaluru continues to be a key office market, accounting for approximately 25% of total leasing between January and September 2025, according to company-cited data.

The company stated that the city also recorded nearly 40% of GCC leasing in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting strong demand from enterprises. WeWork India currently operates 29 centres across major business districts in Bengaluru and has reported a 44% increase in enterprise desks in the region over the past two years.

The centre is located near key landmarks including Bangalore Club and Chancery Pavilion and offers connectivity to MG Road metro station, Bishop Cotton Boys School bus stop, and the airport.

The workspace will feature modern design elements, including solid surfaces and a glass-glazed façade inspired by Bengaluru’s urban environment. It will offer enterprise-ready infrastructure along with shared lounges, meeting spaces, and technology-enabled systems.

WeWork India operates across eight cities with over 1.21 lakh desks and provides workspace solutions for businesses ranging from startups to large enterprises.
