Former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar has sold a residential property in Mumbai’s Bandra West for Rs 4 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra.

The transaction was registered in April 2026.

According to the documents, the property is located in Jewel Co-op Housing Society in Bandra West. The apartment has a built-up area of 114.15 square metres (approximately 1,229 sq. ft.) and comes with two car parking spaces.

The transaction attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 24 lakh, while registration charges amounted to Rs 30,000.

Bandra West remains one of Mumbai’s prominent residential micro-markets. The locality is connected through major road networks, suburban railway services and metro connectivity, while also offering access to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

The area is situated near major commercial districts including Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel and Nariman Point, making it a preferred residential destination for professionals and business owners.

Ajit Agarkar represented India across all formats of international cricket after making his debut in 1998. The former fast-bowling all-rounder was part of several Indian squads during the early 2000s and recorded more than 300 international wickets and over 3,500 runs during his career.

Following his retirement from professional cricket, Agarkar moved into cricket administration and was appointed Chairman of Selectors for the Indian men’s cricket team in 2023.
