Pune: B-Right Real Estate Group has outlined plans to develop approximately 4.7 million sq. ft. of real estate in Mumbai by 2033, as part of its Vision 2033 roadmap.

The company presented the roadmap at its Vision 2033 event in Mumbai, with redevelopment continuing to form the core of its development strategy. B-Right Real Estate, founded in 2007, has focused on redevelopment and SRA projects across the city.

The company said its development plans through 2033 will remain concentrated in Mumbai. Its stated priorities include project-level financial discipline, governance, design and stakeholder coordination.

Financial Discipline and Governance

Founder, Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Nathalal Shah said the company intends to maintain financial discipline at the project level. According to Shah, projects need sufficient financial strength to continue construction and avoid delays or stoppages without relying entirely on sales.

Shah also pointed to governance and transparency as important considerations for the company as a BSE-listed entity. He said regulatory oversight, institutional investors, lenders and other stakeholders bring additional accountability to its operations.

The company also discussed challenges associated with distressed and stalled redevelopment projects. Such projects can involve residents, buyers, investors and lenders with different expectations, Shah said, adding that bringing stakeholders together is necessary to find a workable way forward.

Rudra Shah Takes on Execution and Technology

The Vision 2033 event also highlighted the increasing involvement of Rudra Shah, son of Sanjay Shah, in the business.

While Sanjay Shah continues to oversee areas including finance and project financial discipline, Rudra Shah is taking responsibility for on-ground execution and technology.

Rudra Shah said his role involves working directly at the project level and using technology to help move developments forward.

Mumbai Projects in the Pipeline

B-Right Real Estate’s upcoming portfolio includes Grandeur in Mulund West, Shivaji Nagar in Borivali West, SKY54 in Malad East, Ultra City in Goregaon West and Godavari in Chembur.

SKY54 in Malad East is planned across approximately 650,000 sq. ft. The project is being developed under the SRA framework and will include residential and commercial components.
