Pune: Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) reported a 140% year-on-year increase in consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) to ₹17 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹7 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26.

Consolidated total revenue rose 5% to ₹131 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹125 crore in Q1 FY26. Operating EBITDA increased 9% during the quarter, reflecting an improvement in operating performance.

Room revenue remained the primary growth driver during the quarter, with average room rates and revenue per available room both recording year-on-year gains. However, food and beverage revenue declined during the period.

BHVL’s F&B revenue stood at ₹42 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹47 crore in Q1 FY26. The company’s Average Room Rate (ARR) increased 7% year-on-year from ₹6,761 to ₹7,241, while Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) rose 9% from ₹5,040 to ₹5,479.

Overall occupancy stood at 75.7% during the quarter.

Bengaluru remained the strongest market within the portfolio, with RevPAR increasing 10% year-on-year from ₹6,437 to ₹7,099. The growth was supported by an increase in ARR from ₹8,223 to ₹8,435, while occupancy in the city stood at 84.2%.

Commenting on the financial performance, Nirupa Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd. said, “Q1 FY27 reflected steady, broad-based improvement across our portfolio, with resilient domestic demand despite softer corporate/MICE activity, air travel disruptions, and a quiet events calendar weighing on banqueting and F&B. Room revenue remained the key growth driver, with healthy RevPAR growth led by strong pricing power and continued occupancy gains in Bengaluru. Operating EBITDA and margins improved on sustained cost discipline, while profit after tax rose sharply on stronger operating performance and lower finance costs post debt reduction. We remain focused on our expansion plans of doubling our keys and building a diversified portfolio across luxury, leisure, and business segments.”

The quarter also marked the rebranding of BHVL’s Kochi Infopark property to Courtyard by Marriott. The company is scheduled to launch Courtyard by Marriott at WTC Chennai in Q3 FY27.
