Mumbai: Awfis Space Solutions Limited has reached a significant inflection point in its growth journey, crossing 100 centres in South India and scaling its regional capacity beyond 70,000 seats.

This milestone underscores the accelerating shift toward flexible workspace solutions in India, particularly across high-growth urban markets such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi. Collectively, these markets now account for over 3.1 million sq. ft. of Awfis’ chargeable workspace, including operational centres and those under development.

The company’s client base has expanded to more than 3,400 enterprises, with multinational corporations contributing nearly two-thirds of total occupancy. Small and mid-sized businesses and startups continue to form a critical demand layer, reflecting the broad-based adoption of managed office and coworking solutions.

A key driver behind this expansion is the rising footprint of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. Awfis derives approximately 21% of its rental revenue from GCC clients, positioning the segment as a strategic growth lever. The company’s premium workspace offerings—designed for enterprise scalability—have attracted global firms seeking agile, cost-efficient office infrastructure.

Crossing the 100-centre milestone in South India reflects strong structural demand for premium flexible workspaces,” said Amit Ramani, Chairman and Managing Director of Awfis.
Cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai have evolved into global innovation and GCC hubs. Our focus remains on deepening our presence in these high-potential markets,” he added.
