Mumbai: Knauf India organised a dealers’ meet in Guwahati, bringing together channel partners, dealers and senior leadership as part of its ongoing engagement with the North-East market.

The event was attended by Vijay Mishra, Commercial Director; Gaunik Singh, Marketing Director; and Neeraj Bhatia, Sales Director (North & East). According to the company, the gathering was aimed at strengthening relationships with channel partners and discussing opportunities emerging across the region.

Dealer partners including RR Enterprises, Galaxy International and Shyam Glass participated in discussions focused on the changing construction landscape in North-East India. The conversations covered residential development activity and infrastructure projects in cities such as Guwahati, Shillong and Agartala.

Commenting on the occasion, Vijay Mishra, Commercial Director, Knauf India, said, “The North-East has always been a region of immense promise — young demographics, rapid urbanisation, and an accelerating appetite for modern construction. The Guwahati Dealers’ Meet is our commitment made visible. We are here to build — not just structures, but relationships, capability, and a market that will define Knauf India’s next chapter of growth.”

During the event, Knauf India showcased its drywall and ceiling solutions, including its Sheetrock plasterboard systems and Aquapanel cement board. The company conducted product sessions aimed at familiarising channel partners with its building solutions portfolio.

The company noted that infrastructure and construction activity in the region is being supported by government initiatives, including the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan and the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS).

According to Knauf India, the Guwahati event forms part of a broader series of regional engagements focused on strengthening dealer partnerships and expanding market presence across North-East India.

The company stated that it remains focused on supporting the region’s construction ecosystem through its dealer network and product offerings while continuing to engage with stakeholders across emerging markets.
