New Delhi: Casagrand has announced the launch of Casagrand Highcity, its largest residential development to date, located along Chennai’s rapidly developing Outer Ring Road (ORR) corridor.
Spread across 41 acres, the integrated residential project will comprise more than 4,000 housing units, including two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, across four G+22 residential towers. The development is positioned as one of the first large-format projects of this scale by an organised real estate developer in the ORR corridor.
Located in Chennai, the project aligns with the continued urban expansion and infrastructure growth along the city’s Outer Ring Road, which has emerged as a key residential and connectivity corridor linking multiple IT, industrial, and manufacturing hubs.
According to the company, the ORR corridor provides connectivity to employment centres including Navalur, Siruseri SIPCOT, Perungalathur, Porur, Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, Ambattur, and other commercial zones. Ongoing infrastructure upgrades and transit network improvements are also contributing to the region’s residential demand.
Casagrand Highcity has been designed with a focus on integrated urban living and open-space planning. Of the total project area, approximately 28 acres have been allocated for open and landscaped spaces, including 22 acres of greenery, 3.5 acres of tropical forest areas, and themed gardens.
The development incorporates Singapore-inspired planning principles and includes over 150 amenities. These include more than 50 sports-focused facilities and over 25 amenities dedicated to children and family recreation.
A key feature of the project is its 5-acre sports clubhouse, which includes over 35 sports courts and activity zones such as mini-soccer turf, tennis courts, badminton courts, box cricket, bowling, pickleball, squash, billiards, and table tennis facilities.
The project will also include a 21,000 square feet resort-style swimming pool and a 1.3-acre recreational clubhouse equipped with indoor amenities including a gymnasium, mini theatres with seating capacity for over 180 people, banquet halls, gaming lounges, and VR zones.
