Pune: Duville Estates has unveiled its design-thinking philosophy, outlining an approach that places timeless design, space efficiency and long-term functionality at the centre of its residential developments.

According to the company, the philosophy is intended to guide every stage of development, including planning, spatial design, functionality, community engagement and long-term relevance.

The company said its approach is based on a legacy dating back to 1810, when the Dubash family’s business journey began. It stated that the principles of trust, integrity and delivering long-term value continue to influence its development philosophy.

Rather than following architectural styles associated with specific periods, Duville Estates said it focuses on designs that remain relevant and adaptable over time. The company added that the objective is to create residential communities that continue to meet changing lifestyle requirements after completion.

The company said the philosophy is particularly relevant as Pune’s eastern corridor continues to witness infrastructure development, commercial expansion and changing housing preferences.

According to Duville Estates, it is evaluating opportunities to expand across key micro-markets in East Pune and other strategic locations in Maharashtra. The company stated that future projects will continue to follow its established planning principles.

Commenting on the company’s approach, Mr. Tushad B. Dubash, Director, Duville Estates, said, “The buildings we admire most are often those that continue to remain relevant decades after they were created. That is because they were designed with purpose, not just for a moment in time. At Duville Estates, we believe good design should improve how people live, adapt to changing needs, and continue creating value long into the future. Every decision we make is guided by our building ideology. ‘To Build is Temporary. To Create is Forever’ is more than a statement it reflects how we approach development. Construction may have an end date, but the impact of a thoughtfully designed community can last for generations. Our focus is on creating homes that people are proud to call home today and will continue to cherish tomorrow.”
