Mayfair Housing has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Anthony Nelson Gonsalves as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), a move that comes as the Mumbai-based real estate developer accelerates its expansion across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). With more than six decades of legacy and a growing development pipeline, the company is reinforcing its technical leadership to support engineering excellence, construction quality and efficient project execution across existing and upcoming projects.
Anthony Nelson Gonsalves brings over 30 years of experience in civil engineering, project management and real estate development. In his new role, he will lead Mayfair Housing’s technical function, with responsibility for engineering, project planning, design coordination, construction quality, safety standards and execution. The appointment aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of strengthening technical governance while maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

As Mayfair Housing expands its presence across the MMR, the company is also focusing on enhancing execution capabilities through stronger technical oversight. According to the developer, Mr. Gonsalves will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to improve project delivery, strengthen quality assurance systems and introduce best practices that enhance engineering efficiency, construction quality and operational performance.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Gonsalves has held leadership positions at Gera Developers, Dynamix Group, AECOM and K Raheja Group, overseeing the planning and execution of large-scale residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments across India and the Middle East.
Among his notable achievements is the design closure of Adventz Tower, Dubai, which received the Best Residential Tower – MENA recognition at the World Architecture Awards 2015. His portfolio also includes projects such as Riviera Tower in Sharjah, Pullman, Pride and Ibis Hotels in Delhi, Verandas and Suncity in Gurugram, along with Avanya, Parkwoods and Divum in Mumbai.
A PMP-certified professional, Mr. Gonsalves holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Walchand Institute of Technology and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. His experience across engineering, project management and construction law is expected to support Mayfair Housing’s efforts to further strengthen technical governance, innovation, safety standards and execution capabilities.
