New Delhi: Pratham Group, a joint venture between Unity Group, HL Group and RP Group, has announced the launch of City Centre-II in Sector 12, Dwarka, strengthening neighbourhood retail infrastructure in West Delhi.

The project was inaugurated with a special screening event, positioning the development as a community-focused retail and entertainment destination catering to the growing residential catchment in the area.

City Centre-II has been conceptualised as a neighbourhood-centric retail hub, offering a mix of retail outlets, food and beverage brands, and entertainment options designed to meet both daily and lifestyle needs of local residents.

A key highlight of the development is the introduction of a multiplex by Cinépolis India, marking its entry into the Dwarka micro-market. The multiplex features five auditoriums with a total seating capacity of over 750, contributing to the expansion of organised entertainment infrastructure in the region.

The addition is expected to enhance the project’s positioning as a primary leisure destination, addressing demand for structured entertainment options within the locality.

Speaking on the development, Harsh Vardhan Bansal, Co-Founder of Unity Group, said the focus of the project is to create a retail destination that integrates with the everyday lifestyle of residents, with an emphasis on accessibility, relevance, and consistent engagement.

He added that neighbourhood retail is increasingly moving towards experience-led formats, where convenience is complemented by curated offerings in food, beverage, and entertainment.

The project features a mix of national and international food and beverage brands, including McDonald’s, Starbucks, Café Delhi Heights, The Sanook Kitchen, Brick & Brew, Berco’s, Scoop Wonder and Tealive.

Select outlets have already commenced operations, while the remaining brands are expected to open in a phased manner over the coming months, supporting gradual activation of the retail destination.

The launch comes amid a broader shift in urban consumption patterns, where neighbourhood retail centres are gaining traction due to their accessibility and ability to cater to daily consumption needs within residential catchments.
