Greater Noida West is set for another major infrastructure upgrade with the proposed Rs 900-crore Shahberi Double-Decker Flyover, a project expected to strengthen regional connectivity and support the area’s continued real estate growth. Planned as the city’s first double-decker flyover, the project will connect the Eteda Roundabout on the 130-metre road with Crossings Republik, creating a new transport link across one of the region’s busiest corridors.
The proposed flyover is aimed at easing congestion along the heavily trafficked Shahberi stretch, improving connectivity between Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad and Delhi. While authorities have not announced an official estimate for travel-time savings, the project is expected to reduce traffic bottlenecks and improve daily commuting for residents in one of NCR’s fastest-expanding residential markets.
The development also complements a series of major infrastructure initiatives transforming the region. These include the operational Noida International Airport, the Gaur Chowk underpass, the widening and upgradation of the 130-metre road, and the proposed metro connectivity. Collectively, these projects are expected to strengthen the region’s multimodal transport network and enhance long-term accessibility.
