Mumbai: Century Real Estate has formally launched The Astoria, a premium residential development at Jakkur on International Airport Road in North Bengaluru, following pre-launch bookings exceeding ₹550 crore. The project, previously introduced as Codename Bluemoon in July 2026, comprises 334 residences across five towers and forms part of the developer’s larger integrated development, Century Immencity.
The launch comes amid the expansion of North Bengaluru as a residential and commercial destination, supported by airport-led development, growing commercial activity, NH-44 connectivity and upcoming Metro infrastructure. The region’s expanding ecosystem of educational institutions, healthcare facilities, hospitality and recreational spaces is also shaping its residential appeal.

Century Immencity is planned as an integrated urban development combining residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, cultural and recreational spaces. The larger project is expected to include close to 10 million sq. ft. of commercial development and, at maturity, support more than one lakh professionals.
The development is being planned around the concept of bringing workplaces, homes and everyday amenities closer together, reducing the need for residents and professionals to travel between separate destinations for work, leisure and social activities.
An important component of this plan is ‘The Old School’, a proposed community and cultural hub within Century Immencity. The space is envisioned to accommodate cultural activities, sports, wellness, food, social gatherings, children’s discovery and community engagement, making these experiences part of the wider development.
The master planning of Century Immencity involves international design firms DP Architects, Singapore and BDP, London. Its design approach incorporates pedestrian-friendly movement, landscaped promenades, plazas, green spaces and public gathering areas intended to connect the different components of the development.
Within this larger development, The Astoria occupies approximately 6 acres and comprises 334 Neo Luxe Residences distributed across five towers. The project features around 75% open space, a clubhouse spanning approximately 40,000 sq. ft. and a landscape-led amenity offering. Its residential configuration includes 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom apartments, along with penthouse residences.
The project introduces Century Real Estate’s Neo Luxe residential concept, which is based on three principles: privacy, purpose and design. The approach emphasises spatial planning, comfort, natural lighting, cross ventilation and detailing as key elements of residential design.
Commenting on the response to the project, Maninder Chhabra, Director – Sales, Marketing & CRM, Century Real Estate, said, “The pre-launch journey of The Astoria has given us a strong sense of the depth of demand for thoughtfully conceived premium residences in North Bengaluru. What has been particularly encouraging is the level of engagement from homebuyers even before the formal launch, reflecting their willingness to evaluate a home through the lens of its long-term relevance, not just its immediate features. The response to Astoria reinforces our confidence in the market and in our approach to creating differentiated residential offerings for the evolving Bengaluru homebuyer.”

The project recorded more than ₹550 crore in bookings following its July 2026 pre-launch under the Codename Bluemoon identity. According to the company, the early response came from homebuyers in Bengaluru’s elite circles. Its formal introduction as The Astoria marks the next stage of the residential development within Century Immencity.
