The inauguration was carried out by Sh. Prateek Gahlot, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Gurugram, who also participated in a plantation drive at the site. The initiative will see the development of 31 traffic booths at key locations, including Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, and IFFCO Chowk on NH-8, among other high-footfall areas.

The traffic booths are designed to enhance on-ground visibility and operational efficiency of traffic personnel. Each unit will be fully furnished and equipped with air conditioning, four beds, chair-table setups, computers, seating arrangements, pantry, and washroom facilities.

The booths will also support real-time monitoring, enabling traffic police to observe live footage of surrounding areas and respond more efficiently at critical intersections. Their placement near major commercial zones is expected to improve traffic regulation in areas with high pedestrian and vehicular movement.

Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Prateek Gahlot, IPS DCP Traffic Gurgaon, said, “Effective traffic management is fundamental to the safety and mobility of a growing city like Gurugram. These booths will significantly strengthen the operational capacity of the field personnel, enabling real-time surveillance and faster response across some of the city’s most critical intersections. We welcome and appreciate M3M India’s proactive step towards strengthening the city’s traffic ecosystem.”

Robin Mangla, President, M3M India, said, “Gurugram’s growth as a leading urban centre demands that civic infrastructure keeps pace with its development. The establishment of these 31 traffic booths is our contribution toward that objective, equipping the city’s traffic management system with modern facilities that can support more effective and efficient operations on the ground.”
