‘The Five Elements’ Art Installations Unveiled at Bandra Junction in Mumbai

‘The Five Elements’ art installations by Notandas Realty have been unveiled in Bandra, Mumbai, aiming to promote local culture and enhance public spaces through curated urban art.
Five Elements Art Installations Unveiled in Bandra

Mumbai: Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Ashish Shelar, along with local representatives and civic officials, unveiled ‘The Five Elements’ art installations at Linking Road junction in Bandra West, Mumbai.

The installations have been developed by Notandas Realty and designed by artist Sangeeta Babani. According to the organisers, the initiative aims to highlight the cultural identity and visual character of Bandra through public art.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Corporator Swapna Mhatre, District President Virendra Mhatre, and Assistant Municipal Commissioner of H-West Ward Dinesh Pallewad from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

Officials stated that the installations are intended to contribute to the aesthetic improvement of the locality while promoting art and culture in public spaces.

Ashish Shelar, who heads the Cultural Affairs and Information Technology departments of the Maharashtra government, has been associated with cultural initiatives across Mumbai. He recently received the UNESCO World Heritage certificate for 12 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj forts in France and has been involved in events such as the Art Deco Alive festival.

According to the company, the project is part of its broader efforts to collaborate with artists and undertake public space enhancements. The installations are also intended to serve as a cultural focal point for the area.

Notandas Realty stated that it plans to introduce similar installations in other parts of Mumbai in the coming months.

Other attendees at the event included Harsh Jagwani, Managing Director, Notandas Realty, and Mahesh Jagwani.
